DFW Coping HIGHLY recommends sealing coping products with a water based semi penetrating sealer. Non-sealed products may void warranty. The installer or end user shall determine the suitability of the products for the intended use and assumes all risks and liability in connection with the products.

Design Cast warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of pickup, delivery, or shipment to the original customer. This limited warranty applies to both residential and commercial applications. Products that are not GFRC fire-rated and are used for fire applications are not covered. This warranty does not cover labor costs, removal or re-installation expenses, or any freight, shipping, or handling charges. This warranty will be automatically voided if products are not installed or used as specified.

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period through this LINK. Design Cast reserves the right to inspect any product to determine the validity of the claim.

The original customer is solely responsible for all logistics, freight, and shipping costs incurred to return the product to Design Cast for inspection or repair, as well as the freight and shipping costs to deliver any repaired or replacement product back to the customer.

Concrete Enclosures
The warranty covers manufacturing defects or structure failure. Small stress cracks and surface crazing are a natural occurrence in concrete products and are not covered within this warranty. Discoloration over time is a natural process and is not covered by this warranty.

GFRC Enclosures
The warranty covers manufacturing defects or structure failure. Small stress cracks and surface crazing are a natural occurrence in GFRC products and are not covered within this warranty. Discoloration over time is a natural process and is not covered by this warranty.

Pool Coping
The warranty covers manufacturing defects or structure failure. Small stress cracks and surface crazing are a natural occurrence in concrete products and are not covered within this warranty. Discoloration over time is a natural process and is not covered by this warranty.

Metal Bowls
The warranty covers manufacturing defects or structure failure. Discoloration over time is a natural process and is not covered by this warranty.

Non-Manufactured Products
These products are covered under the respective manufacturer's warranty. Design Cast does not provide separate coverage for these third-party items but may assist with manufacturer claims.

Freight Exclusion 

Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship but excludes freight, shipping, delivery, pickup, or other transportation costs when the original shipment was arranged by the customer or a third-party carrier selected by the customer. Any warranty return or replacement shipment requires prior written authorization from the manufacturer before shipment. Unauthorized freight charges will not be reimbursed.

Fire Products:

Fire products must be installed and operated using the fire components, burner systems, media, installation clearances, fuel type, and operating procedures specified or approved by Design Cast.

The use of non-Design Cast or non-approved fire components, burners, fire rings, fuel systems, or other equipment may alter flame characteristics, heat output, heat distribution, or operating temperatures and may void the warranty.

Installation of fire components at heights, locations, or clearances other than those specified by Design Cast may result in excessive heat exposure and damage to the product or its finish. Damage resulting from non-compliant installation, unauthorized components, excessive heat, or operation outside of Design Cast's specifications is not covered under this warranty.

Design Cast is not responsible for damage to finishes, coatings, sealers, or other components resulting from excessive heat or improper fire-component selection, sizing, placement, or operation.
